Sun Café Attendant

Job Summary
Reporting to the Food and Beverage management team, the Café Attendant is responsible for the resetting and bussing of tables, running food, stocking supplies, using the POS system, and taking café food orders.

Primary Job Responsibilities
• The basic setup of the café and the expo line
• Setting up service stations, getting buckets of ice, jugs of water, glassware, cutlery, and restocking fridges/shelves
• Assisting servers during service with table maintenance: running food, resetting, and bussing tables
• Cleaning the floor and surrounding areas as needed.
• Expedite food to tables.
• Adhering to all policies and procedures designated by the club.

Working Environment
• Work is primarily in a busy kitchen and restaurant setting with frequent interruptions.

Skills and Experience
• 1+ years’ relevant working experience
• Knowledge of the best food handling and certificate is considered an asset.
• Pro Serve certificate is considered an asset.
• Ability to lift upwards of 50 lbs.
• Consistent standing and bending for up to 8 hours per shift.

Compensation

$15.00 per hour
